Excellent highways from all Germany bring you to Füssen. Driving times are: Munich, 2 hours, Stuttgart, 3 hours, and Frankfurt, 5 hours.  Railway service direct and with connections:  Munich , 2 hours, Stuttgart 3 ½ hours, and Frankfurt, 5 hours.

The Castles

Both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are only 3 miles from Hotel Luitpold Park with hourly bus transfers to castle entrance facilities from the bus station is 100 steps from the hotel. Check with our hotel’s front desk for more information.

The Ludwig Musical

The people of Füssen, realizing their immensely intriguing heritage of King Ludwig and his nearby castles, have created a magnificent world class theatre on Füssen’s lake shore.  The musical has won acclaim throughout Europe and is performed most days from March through December.  Our concierge service will arrange for tickets.
